How to Label a Bottle

bottle

A bottle has a shoulder, which is a transition zone between its two major parts. It is also called the heel. There are a variety of ways to label a bottle. Some of these methods are easier to understand with drawings and definitions. The morphology page explains bottle terminology, and includes a link to the first definition of the term. Additional variations are noted when appropriate.

Plastic bottles are derived from petroleum raw materials. They offer many benefits, including lightness and breakage resistance. They can also be used to dispense product through squeezing. However, plastic bottles are less efficient at protecting products than glass, and lack the glossy appearance and transparency of glass bottles. They also contribute to pollution. Many plastic containers are not recyclable, but those that are made of PET and HDPE have some recycling capabilities.

Bottle service is often a more exclusive option at a nightclub or high-end bar. Patrons pay a set fee for a reserved table and are seated at a dedicated table with a bottle server. Many establishments also include cocktail mixers and other ingredients. Some clubs even reserve VIP tables for those who pay for bottle service.

A reusable water bottle made of lead-free glass is best for people who are concerned about lead and cadmium. The top-grade glass is borosilicate, which withstands high and low temperatures and is lighter than ordinary glass. Other, less expensive options include soda-lime glass and traditional glass.
