There are many ways to define work. For instance, you can think of the coolies who help you move your luggage at a railway station. They will grab your luggage and help you lower it to the ground. These coolies are performing work. Work is a process that causes an object to move. It is the result of a force and a displacement. You will have to perform work in order to move an object.
